Meetings Saturday regarding area parks

by | Jul 11, 2019 | Latest

Two neighborhood meetings are slated for Saturday, July 13, to gather information and answer questions for recreational amenities at Travis Farm Park and North Hill Park.

Improvements will be funded through the voter-approved Capital Improvement Projects bond program of 2017.

First meeting is at 9 a.m. at the Travis Farm Park pavilion, 502 Skyline Drive. To reach the pavilion, turn east on Skyline Drive from S. Murphy Road and remain on Skyline until the road dead ends at the park.

Proposed amenities for the 5.5-acre Travis Farm Park, which are open for discussion and interaction, include a zipline playground addition, benches, picnic tables, additional landscaping, trees and appropriate irrigation.
