Murphy voters head to the polls Saturday to pick members for the city council, college and school boards, decide a $193.7 million WISD school bond issue and reallocate some sales tax revenue.
Elections are slated for Murphy, Parker, Collin College, Wylie ISD and Plano ISD.
On election day, voting centers will be open throughout the county. County residents can vote from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at any of the centers.
All four places open on the Murphy city council this spring are challenged. Running for Place 1 are Elizabeth Abraham and Doug Davis, in Place 2 are incumbent Jennifer Berthiaume and Gayathri Nagarajan, for Place 4 are incumbent Betty Spraggins and Kenneth Oltmann, and in Place 6 are James Otto, Jene Butler and Andrew Chase.
