District season starts with defeat, victory
Plano East softball split a set of home and away games to open district.
They began with a 4-0 loss at McKinney Boyd and bounced back with a 12-8 win over Prosper in 9-6A.
Plano East went hitless in the opener and had an error.
Payton Leonard and Angela Marentes each had a walk.
