Rebound with pair of 10-6A victories

The Lady Panthers bounced back with a pair of District 9-6A basketball wins.

They knocked off defending state champion Plano 44-42 and McKinney 59-53.

“The wins were a great response from our girls to the two previous losses to Prosper and Allen,” Plano East head coach Cherilyn Morris said. “The team showed great focus and determination to close those games out.”

Tavy Diggs scored 16 points and Kendall Parker chipped in 15 versus Plano.
