The start of the district season began with a split for Lady Panther basketball.
They beat host McKinney Boyd 71-45 and fell 55-47 at home to Prosper in 9-6A.
“It’s a very tough district but I’m excited to finally get to it and see what we are made of,” Plano East head coach Cherilyn Morris said.
As of Monday, Dec. 17 Plano East was 15-2 overall and 1-1 in district.
