Anderson leads way with first-team pick in District 9-6A

Plano East closed out the 2018 volleyball season with all-district honors.

Nicole Anderson was named to the 9-6A first-team.

Jenna Deggs made the second-team.

Danielle Dion and Lillian Scantlan were tabbed as honorable mentions by the PESH coaching staff.

Alex Weiss, Nicole Anspach, Alexandra Poholsky, Sidney McClain, Natalie Anspach, Kayla Tran and Deggs were picked academic all-district.

Plano East finished up 14-16 overall and 2-8 in the district standings.

“We didn’t finish like we wanted to,” interim head coach Jennessa Gattis said

Their two district wins came over Allen.
