The crowd was on their feet screaming louder than they have the whole game.

The kicker got his whole leg behind the ball as he drove the ball towards the bright yellow uprights. The ball hits the back net and players rushed the field, doing flips, and mob one man, Angel. The crowd screams, “Angel, Angel, Angel,” after he drills a 39-yard game winner in double overtime to help Plano East top McKinney 45-42 on Friday, Oct. 26.
In a District 9-6A game in which McKinney outplayed a Plano East offense that has been known to take over games, it was Plano East’s defense that won them the game.
Despite giving up 431 total yards of offense, the defense came up big when needed.
