MURPHY – It was a medal winning showing for Plano East track during the April 4-5 District 6-6A meet.

Up next is the April 18-19 5-6A versus 6-6A area meet at Northwest ISD Stadium.

The top four individual and relay teams will compete for a trip to the 6A Region I meet at Mavericks Stadium.

In the varsity division at Kimbrough Stadium in Murphy, the Panthers finished second with 132.5 points and Lady Panthers scored 85.5 for fourth.

Earning points, top six, for the boys were Tyler Owens (second in long jump at 22-01, fourth in 100 in a time of 10.85 and sixth in triple jump at 44-09), Trevion Jones-Scott (sixth in 100 in 10.95), Travon Bradley (fifth in 200 in 22.77), Jeffrey Sillers (sixth in 800 in 2:02.29), Devin Vallejo (first in 1,600 in 4:19.68 and second in 3,200 in 9:27.19), Grant Wilcox (third in 1,600 in 4:24.12 and 3,200 in 9:30.20), Harrison Record (third in 300 hurdles in 40.02), Killian Carper (third in 43-06.75), Juan Marichalar (third in discus at 131-08), Tristan Muller (sixth in discus at 116-02) and Jalen Anderson (first in high jump at 6-06),
