Zach Smith, a 2014 Plano East graduate, helped guide Texas Tech basketball to the NCAA Basketball Tournament Sweet 16.

The Red Raiders will square off 8:57 p.m. Friday, March 23 versus Purdue in one-of-two East Regional semifnals.

The game can be seen on the TBS network.

Texas Tech comes into the contest as the third seed and is 26-9, and Purdue is second with a 30-6 record.
