The theater and choral departments at McMillen High School presented four productions of High School Musical last week, featuring two separate casts.
Show times at the school were 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday, Feb. 22-24, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. The school is located at 750 N. Murphy Road.
High School Musical, released in 2006, is the most successful film produced by Disney Channel Original Movie and led to two sequels. The movie tells of two high school juniors from different cliques who try out for the leads in a musical. Troy Bolton is a Jock and the star of the basketball team, and Gabriella Montez is a Braniac. Attempting to foil their audition are twins Sharpay and Ryan Evans from the Thespians clique.
