Lillian Moore has enjoyed a life filled with many happy memories over the past 100 years.
“I’ve been so blessed and have lived a full life,” Lillian said.
Janet Phillips, her daughter added, “The thing about living to 100 is you’ve outlived all your friends. I tell her you are the champion. She’s got lots of good memories that she can fall back on.”
Lillian, a resident at Murphy’s Lynridge Assisted Living and Memory Care, has lived a healthy life, with knee surgery being the only medical operation. She is the second in her family to live to 100 years old. Her grandmother Effie Simcox, died just before reaching the 101-year mark.
“My vital signs are good, but my parts are starting to wear out. I’ve never had a headache or a backache either,” Lillian jokingly said.
