It was a flashback to the fifties during the June 11 Murphy Police Department awards banquet.

Those in attendance were served a traditional burger and shake in a sock hop style celebration.

Murphy Police Chief Arthur Cotten and Lt. Adana Barber were the MC’s and handed out several awards.
