The Panthers captured the District 6-6A title Tuesday with a 58-48 victory over Allen. The triumph improved East’s district record to 13-1 and put them three games ahead in the standings with two games left on the regular-season schedule.
Meanwhile, the Lady Panthers closed out the regular season with a 49-33 victory over Allen, improving their district record to 9-7.
