The Panthers remained atop the District 6-6A standings at 6-1 following a tough 59-58 victory Tuesday over Flower Mound. The Lady Panthers fell to 5-4 after coming within an eyelash of upsetting Flower Mound, following 54-53 to the Lady Jaguars. The latter defeated PESH 47-23 in district opener.
East’s boys will host Plano West this Friday, while the Lady Panthers play at West the same evening. PESH’s girls are currently in fifth, a game behind Allen (6-3). The top three spots are occupied by Plano West (8-0), Flower Mound and Plano (each at 7-2).
Council schedules budget hearing
