The motto of the Girl Scouts is, “A Girl Scout is ready to help out wherever she is needed. Willingness to serve is not enough; you must know how to do the job well, even in an emergency.”

Murphy’s Ashley Rodda is a perfect example of that.

The Plano East Senior High junior joined Girl Scouts in elementary school and is now working to help others with her “Blue Jeans Go Green” project.
