The LDS Church in Wylie’s Second Ward met at the Murphy Family Cemetery Saturday, October 10 providing fall cleanup of the historic cemetery. Volunteers mowed grass, pulled weeds, trimmed shrubs and removed dead branches helping to Keep Murphy Beautiful. The Texas Historical Commission granted the Murphy Family Cemetery the designation as a Historic Texas Cemetery last week.
