East teams earn top-10 finishes at Boyd Invitational

The Plano East cross country teams each took a big step forward last week at the McKinney Boyd Invitational, with each earning a top-10 finish during their respective competitions at Myers Park.

The Panthers finished fifth with 101 points in the Boys Varsity Elite competition behind Flower Mound (34), Allen (72), Flower Mound Marcus (82) and McKinney North (83), while the Lady Panthers were sixth in the Girls Varsity Open with 169 points. They were behind McKinney North (41), Frisco Heritage (73), Flower Mound (118), Plano (153) and Celina (160).
