Trustee on ballot for Murphy residents

Voting for the Plano ISD and Collin College Board of Trustees elections culminates with election day on Saturday. Residents can at the Murphy Municipal Complex at 206 N. Murphy Rd. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The city of Murphy does not have a city council election this year.

Voters must present a photo ID in order to cast a ballot.

Five candidates are seeking three places on the Plano ISD Board of Trustees.

In the running for Place 4 are incumbent Mike Friedman, Yoram Solomon and Sharon Hirsch. Running for Place 5 is incumbent David Stolle.

Running for Place 7 is incumbent Missy Bender and Paul P. Kaminsky.

Seven candidates are seeking three places on the Collin College Board of Trustees. Asking election for Place 7 are incumbent Steve Cone, Mike Gould, Collin Kennedy and Jim Orr. Running for Place 8 are incumbent Dr. Robert Collins and Ken Roberts.

Running unopposed for Place 9 on the board of trustees is incumbent Andy Hardin.
